About me
My name is Neil Nijenhuis.
I am an experienced adviser in leadership and IT, with very broad experience and a simple approach: concrete improvement proposals instead of a pile of slides. No buzzwords.
You get someone to bounce ideas off, who genuinely cares and wants to help.

Background
More than 20 years of projects, operations and leadership.
I have worked as a programme and project manager in IT infrastructure, data centre transformations, cloud, security and complex migration projects. I have led large assignments critical to society, carried out migrations and efficiency improvements for hundreds of clients – in Azure, AWS, GCP and hybrid environments – and been CEO of a couple of companies. Always with a focus on balancing time pressure, budget and quality, and on security and regulatory requirements such as the NIS Directive.
I personally led a migration of 100 clients from one data hall to another in 6 months. I have also been part of stopping a project for the benefit of the client’s budget, because the business case did not hold up.
I am hands-on, with a coaching leadership style. Half Mexican, half Dutch, born in Germany – and an inventor with a few inventions behind me and a few new ones in the works.
How I work
Values you can see in everyday work.
Simple and concrete
I start with a current-state picture: what you have, what is missing and where the money goes. Then you get concrete advice, not consultant answers.
Independent
I have experience with most of the large IT suppliers, but no ties to any of them. No commission, no sales budget – I work for you.
Results, not hours
Before the work begins, we decide together what success means, with measures that can be followed up in practice.
Improvements, not scapegoats
IT should support what you do, not steal time and energy. The purpose is never to catch anyone out, but to find what can be improved.
The guarantee
If I don’t add value, you get your money back. I don’t sell hours.
It is not a marketing trick. It is how I work.
Who is John Galt?
Why John Galt?
John Galt is one of the main characters in Ayn Rand’s novel Atlas Shrugged. In the book, entrepreneurs and innovators face obstacles that stifle their drive and their ability to create value. John Galt, a brilliant engineer, chooses to break free and build something new – where people deal with each other on honest terms, and where innovation and hard work are rewarded.
That inspired me when I founded John Galt & Partners AB in 2012. To me, the name stands for freedom, independence and not compromising on what is right. In practice, it means helping companies break free from unnecessary costs and lock-ins, and make decisions on their own terms.
The network
I don’t work alone.
Together we have started companies, made businesses more efficient and worked on everything from inventions and fintech to physical investments.
3 colleagues
When an assignment needs more, I bring in one of my 3 colleagues, each with their own expertise. Then we work as a team – but only when it is needed.
An AI council with 5 agents
5 AI agents built on different models. I use them to get several perspectives on a question before I give advice. The AI supports – I decide.
Local
Your neighbour in Tyresö.
I live in Tyresö. There is enormous expertise and capacity just a few minutes away – at the company next door. I am happy to connect local business owners who can bounce ideas around, exchange services and find practical solutions together.
- Networking meetups – simple, informal meetings for local business owners. No agenda, no selling.
- Matchmaking – I connect the right people.
- Local first – when I recommend suppliers, consultants or partners, I always look locally before I look beyond the municipal boundary.
Together with my wife, I also run the second-hand shop SecondHome by JG&P in Tyresö centrum. I am not just here in theory – I really am your neighbour.
Have you read Atlas Shrugged?
Or are you simply tired of suppliers that don’t deliver? Tell me what is causing friction, and I will look for the simplest first step.
