Services · Management team priorities

A sounding board for decisions.

A sounding board for decisions, when day-to-day work is about growth, profitability and getting things done. IT is too important to be handled by an “IT person” alongside their regular job.

Timeframe

2–6 weeks, or ongoing

Rough estimate – I adjust it after our first meeting.

Approach

Result-based, not hourly rates

Independent

Local in Tyresö, no supplier ties

The problem

“The IT person can deal with that.”

In many companies, IT, security and digital matters end up with someone who already has another job. The management team then makes decisions on investments, suppliers and risks without anyone at the table having the full picture.

At the same time, day-to-day work pulls in several directions. Everything feels important, so nothing really gets prioritised. The difficult questions are pushed to the next meeting.

You don’t need more slides. You need someone who cares about how things go for you – and says plainly what I see.

Examples

Typical questions.

“What should we do first?”

More pressing initiatives than there is time and money for. I help you sort out what has the most effect, what can wait and what you can stop doing.

“Is this the right investment?”

A major system or supplier decision is on the table. I give you an independent second opinion before you sign.

“Who owns IT matters here?”

IT is handled alongside another job. I help you work out what needs clear ownership – and how that can be solved without making it complicated.

“How can AI help us in our management work?”

Concretely and without over-engineering: material ahead of meetings, summaries and follow-up – where it actually saves time.

What is included?

This is what I do.

I have long and broad experience of leadership and change, and I keep it simple: fewer and clearer decisions, in the right order.

Listen

Conversations with you and the management team about the situation, the goals and what is causing friction.

Prioritise

A short, concrete list: what should be done now, what can wait and what can be dropped.

Sounding board

Someone to check in with ahead of decisions – during the assignment or on an ongoing basis, when needed.

The right expertise when needed

If a question needs more depth, I bring in one of my 3 colleagues with other expertise. We are a small team, not an army of consultants.

What you get

As a deliverable, you get concrete improvement proposals in order of priority – on a few pages, not a pile of slides.

How it works

Timeframe: 2–6 weeks, or ongoing

Rough estimate – I adjust it after our first meeting.

The first meeting

A conversation about the situation and what you want to achieve. After that, I adjust the timeframe and the approach.

Review, 1–3 weeks

Conversations with the management team and key people, and a review of the existing material.

Proposals and follow-up

Concrete improvement proposals in order of priority. If you wish, I continue as an ongoing sounding board.

What do I need from you?

  • A non-disclosure agreement (NDA), signed before anything starts.
  • Time for conversations with you and the management team.
  • Insight into the existing material: goals, budget, ongoing initiatives and contracts.

Next step

Would you like someone to think out loud with?

Guarantee: if I don’t add value, you get your money back. I don’t sell hours.
