Here we briefly describe how John Galt & Partners AB handles personal data when you visit the website or contact us.

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we process the information you provide yourself, for example your name, email address, phone number and what you tell us. We use it to reply to you and, if relevant, to plan and carry out an assignment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being able to respond to enquiries, and contract when an assignment goes ahead.

We do not keep the information longer than necessary for the purpose, or for as long as the law requires – for example accounting rules for contracts and invoices. We never sell personal data and only disclose it to suppliers needed to run the business, such as web hosting and email, or if the law requires it.

Meeting booking via zcal

The “Book a meeting” button leads to zcal.co, a separate service for booking meetings. When you book there, zcal processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We receive the information you provide in the booking, for example your name, email address and chosen time, and use it to hold the meeting.

Server logs

The website is hosted by the web hosting company Miss Hosting in Sweden. As on most websites, the web server logs technical information, for example IP address, time, which page was requested and type of browser. The logs are used for operations and security and are kept for a limited time in accordance with the web host’s routines.

Cookies

The website only uses cookies that are necessary for it to work. We do not use any cookies for analytics, marketing or tracking, and the fonts are hosted on our own server – the website does not load any fonts from Google or other external services.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to know what information we hold about you, to have incorrect information corrected and to request that information be erased or that processing be restricted. You also have the right to object to processing and, in certain cases, to receive your data in a machine-readable format. Get in touch at info@johngalt.se.

If you think we are handling your personal data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
